This contract opportunity places you at the center of a vibrant school community where your expertise will provide meaningful support to a caseload of 39 special education students. Your day will begin with breakfast at 7:30 a.m., setting a positive tone for full days of classroom engagement and growth until dismissal at 3:30 p.m.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Ohio Teaching Certification preferred; however, consideration is given to experienced special education teachers not currently fully licensed
- Authorization to work in the United States (visa sponsorship not available)
- Demonstrated passion for helping students with diverse learning needs succeed
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Prior experience in special education or with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) is valuable
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver specially designed instruction to meet the unique needs of each student
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and adjust strategies as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and implement best practices for individualized student goals
- Foster a supportive learning environment that celebrates growth and achievement
