Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience working with students with a variety of learning needs
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to create and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Strong classroom management skills and an adaptable teaching approach
• Enthusiasm for building positive relationships with students, families, and staff

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction to special education students in accordance with IEPs
• Adapt general education lessons and curricula to meet students’ unique requirements
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure a comprehensive learning experience
• Assess student progress regularly and update goals as needed
• Maintain up-to-date records in compliance with school and legal requirements
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, professional development, and school initiatives
