Desired Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina Special Education (SPED) teaching license required
• Experience or strong interest in working with K–12 students in settings ranging from preschool to high school
• Background in any of the following: MSD, Resource/Co-Teach, Cross Categorical Self-Contained, or ED COPE is a plus
• Commitment to supporting diverse learners and adapting instructional strategies
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
• Must be available for onsite instruction; remote or hybrid options are not offered

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and modify individualized education programs (IEPs) to meet student needs
• Deliver engaging instruction in inclusive or specialized classrooms according to assigned caseload preference and grade level
• Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to foster an inclusive environment
• Monitor, document, and communicate student progress and adapt strategies as necessary
• Maintain compliance with all district, state, and federal education policies
• Contribute to IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team planning

Position Details:

• Full-time, contract position (37.5 hours per week)
• Onsite roles at various locations; match your preference for grade level and instructional setting
• Contract dates: August 5, 2026 – June 4, 2027
