This rewarding contract role is set to begin August 5th, 2026, and continue through June 4th, 2027, offering you the chance to work with a passionate team and contribute to students’ growth in the 2026–27 school year.
Openings are available at multiple grade levels, including K–5 at Westview Elementary, 6–8 at Sangaree Middle, and 9–12 at Stratford High, all in resource or co-teaching settings. Your schedule would be Monday–Friday, with a 37.5-hour workweek.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina Special Education License required
- Experience supporting students in resource and/or co-teach environments (elementary, middle, or high school)
- Commitment to onsite work, collaborating with staff and students in person
- Strong communication, adaptability, and classroom management skills
- Preference for caseload, grade, and subject welcomed and will be considered in placement
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized instruction and support to students with disabilities in resource/co-teach classrooms
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to develop and implement IEPs
- Foster an inclusive, welcoming learning atmosphere that encourages student achievement and growth
- Track student progress and adapt instructional strategies as needed
- Participate in team meetings and school initiatives
