Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification for South Carolina
• Prior experience managing K–12 caseloads
• Expertise in developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
• Ability to take on either resource or self-contained classroom responsibilities
• Familiarity with best instructional practices and differentiated learning strategies
• Demonstrated strong work ethic, commitment to continuous learning, and a positive attitude

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver specially designed instructional support to students with diverse learning needs
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
• Modify curriculum and adapt teaching methods for inclusive learning environments
• Track student progress and maintain organized, accurate documentation
• Engage positively with students, families, and staff to foster a supportive classroom community
• Take part in IEP meetings, professional development, and school initiatives as required
