Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teaching Credential for California
- Background working with elementary students, preferably in resource or inclusion settings
- Familiarity with mild to moderate disabilities and individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Strong skills in collaboration, differentiation, and positive behavior strategies
- Excellent communication abilities with students, staff, and families
- Adaptability to support diverse learners and changing classroom needs
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized instructional plans for students with mild/moderate disabilities
- Provide both push-in and pull-out services to accommodate student needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers
- Monitor and document academic and behavioral goals
- Maintain up-to-date student records and IEPs in accordance with state requirements
