Key Requirements:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential for the state of California
• Experience working with students with mild to moderate or moderate to severe disabilities
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and reporting
• Ability to adapt instructional materials to varying learning levels
• Passionate about advocating for students and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and track student progress
• Foster a supportive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with families, general educators, and related service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to district, state, and federal compliance guidelines
• Incorporate a variety of instructional technologies and resources to maximize student engagement
