Position Overview:

Soliant Education is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers for multiple onsite opportunities in the Sunnyvale, California area for the 2026–2027 school year. These contract positions provide the opportunity to work alongside supportive school teams while helping students reach their academic, social, and developmental goals. We are hiring educators who are committed to creating positive learning environments and delivering high-quality specialized instruction.

Available Assignments:

Multiple placements are available across different grade levels and student populations. Current openings include:

• 2 Mild/Moderate Caseloads

  • Kindergarten through 8th Grade

  • Middle School

• 3 Extensive Support Needs (ESN) Caseloads

  • Middle School

  • Grades 4–5

  • Kindergarten through 8th Grade

• 1 Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Caseload

  • Preschool

  • Candidates with a Moderate/Severe credential will be considered

Responsibilities:

As a Special Education Teacher, you will provide individualized instruction designed to meet each student's educational needs while supporting their overall growth. You will develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), monitor student progress, collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams, and maintain accurate documentation. Additional responsibilities include adapting curriculum, implementing classroom accommodations, and fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Qualifications:

Candidates must hold a valid California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) credential in Mild/Moderate and Moderate/Severe Special Education. Applicants should demonstrate strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills while maintaining a student-centered approach to instruction. Previous school-based experience is preferred, and educators should be comfortable working with diverse learning needs across assigned grade levels.

Compensation and Benefits:

This position offers a competitive hourly pay range of $41.35 to $60.75 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Soliant Education provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and weekly pay. This is a contract opportunity for the entire 2026–2027 school year.
