Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active Special Education Teacher credential
• Experience working in a school or educational setting, preferably at the elementary level
• Expertise in adapting curriculum to meet individual needs, especially for non-verbal students or students with cortical visual impairment
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn Unique Learning Systems (ULS) is highly desirable
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 individualized instruction tailored to a non-verbal elementary student with CVI
• Design project-based, sensory-rich, visually adapted, and communication-forward lessons aligned with California CTC Core standards
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support holistic student growth

• Complete documentation and actively participate in team meetings
