What You’ll Bring:

• Valid Special Education Teaching credentials (California CTC Core standards preferred)
• Experience teaching elementary students, preferably in a one-on-one setting
• Familiarity with sensory-informed and visually adapted curriculum design
• Knowledge of Unique-Learning-Systems (ULS) is a significant advantage
• Strong communication and collaborative skills working with interdisciplinary teams

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized, project-based lessons for a non-verbal elementary-aged child with CVI
• Use an adapted special education curriculum aligned with California standards
• Collaborate with other specialists (AAC, SLP, TVI, BCBA, OT) to foster holistic student growth
• Support social-emotional learning and peer engagement in a classroom setting
• Complete documentation and participate in team collaboration daily
