With a small class size of nine students—four kindergarteners and five first graders—you’ll work alongside two dedicated paraprofessionals, fostering growth and achievement in both general and adapted curriculum areas.

What We’re Looking For:
- Active Georgia Special Education Certification (Adapted Curriculum) covering all core content areas: Reading, Math, Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies
- Experience designing, implementing, and tracking IEP goals and accommodations
- Thorough understanding of behavior intervention strategies and classroom management
- Familiarity with differentiation and best practices for modifying instruction across content areas
- Demonstrated success working with developmental delays in early education settings
- Proven collaboration skills—able to connect with administrators, service providers, families, and support staff
- Reference requirements: Three conducted reference checks, including one from a recent supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and adapt instructional materials for general and adapted curriculums
- Foster a nurturing, structured, and safe classroom
- Deliver targeted interventions and positive behavior supports
- Monitor and document student progress in compliance with state requirements
- Team up with paraprofessionals and related service staff for seamless student support
