3rd Grade 1st Grade Special Education Teacher in Tacoma, WA

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain appropriate credentials)
• Experience working with elementary or preschool-aged students, ideally in Special Education settings
• Ability to effectively adapt curriculum and instruction to accommodate students’ IEP goals
• Strong collaboration skills and a team-oriented approach
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

• Deliver small-group and individualized instruction tailored to student needs
• Implement and track progress toward IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and families
