Requirements:

• Active Washington State Special Education (SPED) License and ESA certificate (verification required)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience specifically in Special Education, with a strong focus supporting transition-age (18-22) students
• Robust transition classroom knowledge, including curriculum planning, vocational programming, and life skills development
• Extensive prior experience in school settings, particularly in transition-focused roles
• Availability for a full-time onsite schedule (37.5 hours/week) throughout the 2026-2027 academic year
• Willingness to complete district and BIE adjudication processes, with flexibility for a possible short onboarding delay

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction and guidance to transition-aged students in a classroom setting
• Develop and implement transition plans, collaborating closely with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Foster an inclusive, supportive environment focused on life skills, vocational readiness, and self-advocacy
