Special Education Teacher in Taunton, MA

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid and current Massachusetts Special Education License
• Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Passion for fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to elementary and middle school students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and related service professionals to support student progress
• Adapt curriculum materials and employ various instructional strategies to address diverse learning needs
• Monitor student performance and keep accurate records to track progress
• Promote a positive learning atmosphere and advocate for student success
