Passionate educators seeking an opportunity to support diverse learners are invited to apply for multiple contract positions available for special education teachers for the full 26/27 school year. Opportunities include both K-12 Inclusion and Sub Separate classrooms, with a particular need for Sub Separate teachers focusing on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social Emotional Learning (SEL).

As part of a collaborative team, you'll work closely with 2-3 dedicated paraprofessionals and receive ongoing support from experienced supervisors, Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), and social workers. This environment is designed to help you make a meaningful impact on student growth and well-being.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher (appropriate for K-12)
  • Experience or strong interest in inclusion and/or Sub Separate settings
  • Expertise or familiarity with ASD and/or social-emotional learning is highly valued
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with paraprofessionals and multidisciplinary support staff
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive classroom atmosphere

Role Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
  • Provide specialized instruction to ensure academic and social success
  • Partner with paraprofessionals, supervisors, BCBAs, and social workers to deliver comprehensive student support
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions for ASD and social-emotional development
  • Track student progress and maintain thorough documentation
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and team meetings
