Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid state license or certification in Special Education
• Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher within a K-12 setting
• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, parents, and support staff
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction to K-12 students with varying learning needs per their IEPs
• Develop and implement creative lesson plans and accommodations to support student achievement
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records, assessments, and documentation
• Work as an integral part of an interdisciplinary team to ensure all student needs are met
• Engage in regular communication with families to discuss student progress, goals, and support strategies
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and ongoing professional learning
