Key Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina teaching license
• LD certification or Multi-categorical endorsement required
• Proven experience working with middle school students
• Background in supporting students with dyslexia strongly preferred
• Familiarity with inclusion models, particularly push-in services and case management
• Commitment to participating in a mandatory second in-person interview

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver inclusive academic support for middle school students in a collaborative setting
• Develop, implement, and manage IEPs for students in your caseload, tailoring accommodations to specific needs
• Work directly with students with learning disabilities and those within the dyslexia population
• Communicate and consult regularly with classroom teachers, administrators, and families to foster academic progress
• Track student growth, maintain records, and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Participate actively in team meetings and professional development focused on special education best practices
