Responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction to preschool-aged students with disabilities
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Foster early academic, communication, social-emotional, behavioral, and developmental skills
• Create a nurturing, structured, and engaging classroom environment
• Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies tailored to young learners
• Collaborate with families, related service providers, paraprofessionals, and school staff
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with special education regulations
• Support students in achieving developmental and educational milestones

Required Qualifications

• Active California Education Specialist Teaching Credential (CTC)
• Early Childhood Authorization (required)
• Experience working with preschool-aged students with disabilities
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
• Passion for supporting early childhood development and inclusive education

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) setting
• Familiarity with evidence-based interventions for young children with developmental delays and disabilities
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families
• Knowledge of early childhood assessments and developmental milestones
