A contract position is available for a virtual Special Education Teacher providing telehealth tutoring services. This part-time role requires 10 hours per week, with a flexible schedule of approximately 2 hours per day. The position involves delivering specialized educational support to one student remotely.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) in a virtual setting
- Providing targeted special education instruction and interventions tailored to the student's needs
- Monitoring and documenting student progress and adjusting strategies accordingly
- Collaborating with families and other educators to support student growth via telehealth platforms
- Maintaining compliance with special education regulations and best practices in a remote environment
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid teaching certification in special education
- Experience delivering special education services, preferably in a virtual or telehealth format
