Special Education Teacher Online | North Carolina

Seeking a Special Education Teacher to provide onsite instructional support in a school setting located in Elizabeth City, NC. This contract position involves managing a caseload of 20-25 students, delivering tailored education services while adhering to individual learning plans.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs
• Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborating with school staff to monitor student progress
• Utilizing telehealth methods to support special education services when appropriate
• Maintaining accurate documentation and communication with families

Desired qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience managing a caseload of special education students
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to work within a structured school schedule
• Effective communication and organizational skills

Work schedule is from 7:50 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. This role focuses on providing direct support to students in a classroom environment, supported by occasional telehealth interactions as needed.
