Virtual Special Education Teacher in MA

A Special Education Teacher is sought for the 2026/2027 school year to provide specialized educational support via telehealth to high school students in grades 9-12. This contract position is based in Fall River, MA, offering a consistent weekday schedule from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, totaling 32.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver telehealth-based special education instruction tailored to individual learning needs.
• Manage and support a caseload of approximately 10 students, with potential adjustments as the program develops.
• Collaborate with families and educational staff to create and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Monitor and document student progress, ensuring compliance with educational standards and regulatory requirements.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification appropriate for high school level.
• Experience in telehealth education or remote instruction preferred.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple students’ educational needs effectively.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
