Special Education Teacher Work From Home | Arizona

A contract role is available for a Special Education Teacher with expertise in telehealth and teletherapy services. This position involves delivering specialized educational support remotely, utilizing technology to connect with students across various grade levels.

Opportunities exist for five educators, distributed as follows:

• Elementary level: Two positions, including one Life Skills teacher and one Inclusion teacher
• Middle school level: Two positions, including one Life Skills teacher and one Inclusion teacher
• High school level: One Inclusion teacher

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing individualized instruction and support to students with special needs via teletherapy platforms
• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's learning goals
• Collaborating with families, caregivers, and other educational professionals to monitor student progress
• Utilizing digital tools to facilitate engaging and effective remote learning experiences
• Ensuring compliance with relevant special education regulations and guidelines

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Valid teaching certification with an endorsement in special education
• Experience working with students requiring Life Skills and/or Inclusion support
• Proficiency in teletherapy or telehealth modalities in an educational context
• Strong communication skills for interaction with students, families, and school personnel remotely
• Ability to adapt instructional methods to suit virtual delivery and diverse learner needs
