A full-time middle school intervention specialist position is available, focusing on providing specialized support to students with diverse learning needs through both in-person and telehealth services. This role requires a dedicated professional skilled in special education methods and teletherapy practices to enhance student learning and growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for middle school students requiring special education support.
- Delivering specialized instruction and intervention services in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Utilizing telehealth platforms to provide remote special education services effectively.
- Collaborating with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student success.
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Valid teaching certification in special education.
- Experience working with middle school-aged students in an intervention or special education role.
