Positions are available for both full-time and part-time contracts, with immediate start dates and assignments running through May 2027.
Openings include self-contained classrooms for behavior programs, cross-category elementary self-contained, autism programs, special needs preschool, and resource positions. Each setting offers supportive teams and a commitment to student progress.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education Educator Certification for Arizona required
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (FP Card) must be current
- Experience in behavioral programs and CPI certification (for behavior program role) is strongly preferred
- Early Childhood certification or relevant experience (for preschool setting) is desirable
- Experience supporting students with MID cognitive range or moderate intellectual disabilities a plus
- Clear, updated resume demonstrating relevant background and skills
- Ability to work onsite in Phoenix or Glendale locations
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in alignment with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
- Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families
- Collect and analyze progress data to adapt instructional strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and professional development activities
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards
