Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification
• Prior experience working with school-aged students with diverse learning needs
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Capacity to be flexible and adapt to various classroom and school environments
• Familiarity with current instructional technologies is an asset

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction aligned with individualized education plans
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster student growth
• Monitor, document, and assess student progress using data-driven strategies
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, in-services, and professional development sessions
• Provide behavioral support and promote a positive, inclusive classroom environment
