An exciting contract position is available for passionate Special Education professionals eager to facilitate student growth in a dynamic, onsite school setting. This full-time opportunity runs through May 2027 (with possible extension), providing a chance to work in well-supported programs with a collaborative team.

Three distinct onsite roles offer unique contributions:

• Teach and support young learners in a Self-Contained Behavior Program, where CPI certification and prior behavior program experience are highly valued.
• Guide children in a Self-Contained Kindergarten Autism classroom, working with students primarily within the moderate intellectual range.
• Help a smaller group as a Resource Teacher, maintaining a manageable caseload of 11 students.

What we’re looking for:

• Valid Special Education Educator Certification
• Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Experience in elementary special education settings
• CPI certification (strongly preferred for the Behavior Program opening)
• Skill in fostering inclusion, positive classroom management, and individualized learning
• Passion for advocacy and student empowerment
• Flexibility, reliability, and an adaptable teaching approach

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to assigned caseload
• Deliver engaging instruction and evidence-based interventions
• Monitor and document student progress
• Collaborate with classroom staff, other educators, and families to ensure student success
• Maintain compliance with district and state guidelines
