Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school-based setting highly preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
• Dedication to fostering a positive and motivating classroom atmosphere
• Comfortable adapting to varied learning needs and instructional approaches

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver tailored lesson plans in alignment with students’ IEPs
• Create an inclusive environment, promoting student engagement and growth
• Assess student progress, document outcomes, and update IEP goals as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers
• Communicate regularly with families to support student achievement
• Contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions and problem-solving

Role Details:

• Contract position with a flexible start date, available ASAP
• Commitment through the end of the school year, 5/26/27
• Full-time schedule, 37.5 hours per week
