Middle School Life Skills Special Education Teacher – Crandall, TX

Soliant is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a Middle School Life Skills position in Crandall, TX for the 2026–2027 school year.

Position Details:

• Location: Crandall, TX

• Setting: Middle School

• Position: Life Skills Special Education Teacher

• Full-time, 40 hours per week

• 2026–2027 school year, ASAP-5/21/2027 

• Pay starting at $42+ an hour 

Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction in a self-contained Life Skills classroom

• Develop and implement instruction based on student IEP goals

• Support functional academics, communication, social, and daily living skills

• Monitor and document student progress

• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, families, and school staff

• Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and maintain required documentation

Qualifications:

• Active or eligible Texas teaching certification

• Appropriate Special Education certification

• Texas Core teaching certification

• Experience in Life Skills or working with students with significant support needs preferred

• Strong classroom management and communication skills
