• Special Education High School Teacher (English)—NM high school certification required
• Special Education High School Teacher (Biology)—NM high school certification required

Additional openings to address essential needs:

• Special Education Middle School Resource Teacher
• Elementary Special Education Teachers (4 positions—Intensive Learning Center)
• Elementary Special Education Teacher (Pullout/Inclusion combination)
• Pre-K Special Education Teacher

Qualifications:

• Current New Mexico state teaching license (Special Education)
• Valid certification for assigned teaching area (HS English/Biology require HS Cert)
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field; master’s preferred
• Experience with individualized education plans (IEPs) and differentiated instruction
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs
• Develop and implement IEPs aligned with district and state standards
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Track and document student progress toward goals
• Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and parent conferences
