Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current, active EC General Curriculum license (not adapted curriculum)
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher within school environments
• Comfort and experience working in resource, inclusion, or self-contained settings—especially for candidates seeking the CASE Teacher role with autism or maximum support needs
• Ability to collaborate with general educators and support personnel
• Understanding of compliance documentation and IEP writing preferred
• Must be able to meet standard state and district credentialing requirements including licensure and background checks
• For Silver Valley Elementary's part-time opening: commitment to Monday–Thursday, 8:45 AM – 1:45 PM schedule and interest in K-2 grade levels

Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction based on students’ IEPs while facilitating access to the general curriculum
• Create an inclusive, structured, and supportive classroom environment
• Maintain up-to-date student records and progress notes
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
