Bring your expertise in Early Childhood Special Education to a vibrant educational setting in the Denver area, supporting young learners from diverse backgrounds. We are seeking passionate professionals for three full-time Early Childhood Special Education Teacher roles for the 2025-26 school year. These contract positions offer the opportunity to work either in co-teaching classrooms or itinerantly across elementary sites, impacting students’ foundational learning experiences.

Position Highlights:

  • Full-time contract roles (35+ hours weekly) with assignments at Coronado Hills Elementary, Cherry Drive and Woodlen, or Thunder Vista P-8.
  • Start date as soon as possible, continuing through May 22, 2026.
  • Focus on early learners (ages 0-8), collaborating in dynamic classroom settings or providing services itinerantly.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Colorado Department of Education certification.
  • Early Childhood Special Education (0-8) endorsement—required for all positions.
  • Experience in schools preferred; roles available for professionals with all experience levels.
  • Dedication to fostering inclusion and meeting a variety of student needs.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for young children with special needs.
  • Collaborate with general educators, therapists, and families to promote student progress.
  • Utilize evidence-based teaching practices in both co-teaching and itinerant models.
  • Maintain accurate records and compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Cultivate a positive, nurturing classroom environment promoting social and academic growth.

Compensation for these roles is competitive, ranging from $45-$57 per hour, and is commensurate with experience.
