These on-site positions focus on supporting students with diverse needs within dedicated center-based programs and mainstream settings. Multiple full-time opportunities are available at both elementary and high school levels, including roles specializing in Affective Needs, Structured Learning Services, and SSN programs.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid and active Colorado Department of Education (CO DOE) certification in Special Education
- Experience working with elementary and/or secondary students with affective, structured learning, or significant support needs (SSN)
- A flexible, collaborative mindset to adapt to the needs of different school communities
- Strong communication skills for partnering with staff, students, and families
- Ability to manage and adapt to a dynamic caseload
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs following IEP goals
- Work collaboratively with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Provide direct intervention and behavioral support as needed
- Maintain accurate records, progress monitoring, and compliance documentation
- Adapt teaching methods to suit unique learning differences
- Serve as an advocate for students, promoting their academic and social growth
