Key Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Department of Education Certification with Special Education endorsement (required)
• Experience working with students with severe autism, significant support needs (SSN), and emotional/behavioral disabilities
• Background in the use of AAC devices for non-verbal students is a plus
• Skilled in de-escalating challenging behaviors and fostering supportive, structured learning environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with paraprofessionals, other teachers, and service providers
• Familiarity with data-driven instruction and individualized education plans (IEPs)
