Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Active Colorado DOE Certification with Special Education endorsement required
- Experience supporting students with significant autism and emotional dysregulation
- Skilled in working with non-verbal students and using AAC devices
- Comfortable building life skills and structured routines for elementary learners
- Strong skills in de-escalation, behavior management, and working collaboratively with paras and specialized service staff
Responsibilities
- Full-time, on-site positions available at a variety of elementary and middle schools in the North Denver area
- Develop and implement IEPs, individualized support systems, and data-driven interventions
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals and other educators to promote student success
- Manage caseloads that may include students with significant autism and emotional needs
