Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Department of Education teaching license with Special Education Generalist (5-21) endorsement
• Experience with mild to severe disabilities, autism, and behavioral interventions strongly preferred
• For certain roles, background in CPI, ABA, FBA, BIP, or Denver Model practices is key
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication abilities
• Willingness to fulfill time-sensitive district credentialing requirements

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a full-time Learning Specialist or in affective needs/structured learning programs
• Collaborate with speech, therapy, and psychological services providers
• Lead small teams of paraprofessionals (when applicable)
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement evidence-based strategies
• Foster a supportive, engaging, and inclusive classroom culture
• Communicate effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams
