Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting middle school students as an Intervention Specialist. In this full-time role from August 25th through May 28th, 2027, you'll provide essential push-in services for a group of twelve students in grades 6-8. Your expertise will help create a positive, inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current licensure or certification as a Special Education Teacher, with authorization to serve as an Intervention Specialist.
  • Experience working collaboratively with general education teachers to deliver push-in support for students.
  • Knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and data-driven instructional strategies.
  • Strong communication skills to partner with students, staff, and families.
  • Dedication to fostering independence and confidence in students with diverse learning needs.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized instruction and interventions within the general education classroom setting for identified students.
  • Collaborate closely with classroom teachers to modify curriculum and adapt instructional materials.
  • Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records and reporting as required.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and ongoing professional development.
