Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and student-centered Intervention Specialist to provide support services for a caseload of twelve middle school students in grades 6–8. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with general education teachers, families, and support staff to ensure students receive the academic and behavioral supports necessary for success in the general education environment.

This position primarily provides push-in services, working directly with students within the classroom setting to support individualized learning goals and promote inclusive educational practices.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver specialized instruction and interventions to students in grades 6–8 through a push-in service model.
Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement accommodations, modifications, and instructional strategies.
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal requirements.
Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and parent conferences.
Foster positive relationships with students, families, and school personnel.
Support students' academic, social, and behavioral growth in inclusive classroom settings.
Qualifications
Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist licensure or ability to obtain appropriate licensure.
Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience working with middle school students preferred.
Student Caseload
Approximately 12 students
Grades 6–8

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation and benefits will be commensurate with experience and district salary schedules.
