Special Education Teacher - Timmonsville, South Carolina

With a dedicated Monday through Friday schedule (7:15 am – 2:45 pm), you'll work closely with students, families, and colleagues to help every child reach their full potential.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid Special Education teaching license in the state of South Carolina (required)
• Demonstrated experience working with early childhood or elementary-age students, especially those requiring individualized education plans
• Strong understanding of developmental milestones and creative instructional strategies for early learners
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with parents, support staff, and administrators
• Ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and implement evidence-based practices
• Positive, patient, and proactive attitude

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and implement IEPs for 3K and 4K students in a classroom setting
• Assess student progress and modify teaching methods to best support each learner
• Document and report student achievements, attendance, and behavioral data
• Coordinate with support staff and families to promote student growth and well-being
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing planning activities
