Special Education Teacher | Timmonsville, South Carolina

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Demonstrated experience working with elementary-aged students
• Background in self-contained classroom structures preferred
• Prior experience supporting students with autism and/or moderate intellectual disabilities strongly valued

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop lesson plans and adapt curriculum to meet the individualized needs of students
• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in a self-contained classroom
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Employ positive behavioral supports to create a constructive learning environment
• Collaborate closely with other educators, specialists, and family members
• Maintain compliance with all IEP requirements and district policies
