This rewarding contract opportunity runs from ASAP through May 21, 2027, offering the chance to build strong relationships while working regular weekday hours.

You'll serve a vibrant caseload of students in the resource program at a welcoming elementary school, providing targeted support in reading, math, and social skills. Working Monday through Friday from 7:15 am to 2:45 pm, you will be a vital collaborator in a team-oriented environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Special Education Teacher license in South Carolina (required)
• Previous experience in a resource classroom or special education role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, families, and colleagues
• Ability to adapt instruction and materials to meet individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Organized, proactive, and committed to student growth and success

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to students with a variety of learning needs
• Develop, implement, and help monitor IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and interventions
• Foster an inclusive, positive, and supportive classroom culture
• Communicate regularly with families and staff to share updates and strategies
