Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois State Educator License with LBS1 Endorsement (required)
- Strong background in writing, reviewing, and executing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Confidence collaborating with related services staff to support student success
- At least 2 years of recent teaching experience preferred, especially in special education
Responsibilities:
- Create positive, inclusive classroom environments for early childhood through elementary students
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each student’s needs
- Partner closely with therapists and other specialists to optimize support
- Track progress and adjust instruction based on data and best practices
- Communicate clearly with families, maintaining a collaborative approach to student growth
