Key Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois State Educator License with LBS1 Endorsement (required)
• Strong background in writing, reviewing, and executing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Confidence collaborating with related services staff to support student success
• At least 2 years of recent teaching experience preferred, especially in special education

Responsibilities:

• Create positive, inclusive classroom environments for early childhood through elementary students
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each student’s needs
• Partner closely with therapists and other specialists to optimize support
• Track progress and adjust instruction based on data and best practices
• Communicate clearly with families, maintaining a collaborative approach to student growth
