Soliant is actively recruiting intervention specialists for remote special education positions serving high school students across Ohio. Our virtual programs provide crucial support to students who need individualized instruction to achieve their academic and post-secondary goals.

Working 35-37 hours per week, you'll manage a caseload of 40-50 high school students (grades 9-12) with various exceptionalities. Your students will need support across multiple areas: reading and writing at grade level, mathematics and problem-solving skills, transition planning and career readiness, self-advocacy and independence skills, credit recovery and graduation requirements. The virtual setting requires creative engagement strategies to keep adolescent learners motivated and progressing toward their goals.

Your day-to-day responsibilities encompass IEP development and annual review facilitation, direct instruction in core academic subjects, coordination with general education teachers for inclusive practices, progress monitoring using multiple assessment measures, parent communication regarding student achievement and concerns, preparation of students for state testing and graduation requirements, documentation of services and compliance with special education regulations.

Qualifications We Require:

  • Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license (must be current)
  • Master's degree required
  • 2+ years of school-based special education experience
  • Experience with high school curriculum and graduation requirements preferred
  • Strong technological competency for virtual platform management
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Effective communication skills for remote team collaboration

Technical Setup: You'll need reliable internet service, a quiet workspace conducive to virtual teaching, up-to-date computer equipment, and familiarity with Google Classroom, Zoom, or similar platforms.
