Special Education Teacher in Tolleson, AZ

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with K–3rd grade students strongly preferred
• Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Ability to differentiate instruction and provide behavior management support
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet students’ unique learning needs
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in a resource classroom setting
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers
• Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and contribute to IEP meetings
• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students
• Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress
