Soliant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Life Skills Teacher to join a supportive school team near Tooele, UT for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, in-person opportunity allows you to make a lasting impact by supporting elementary students in a collaborative and student-focused learning environment.

Position Details:

  • Position: Special Education Teacher - Life Skills
  • Setting: K-3 Life Skills Classroom
  • School Year: 2026-2027
  • Assignment Dates: July 28,2026 - May 26, 2027
  • Schedule: Full-time, in-person

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction to K–5 students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Develop and implement individualized instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to support student success.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Promote positive student outcomes through evidence-based instructional and behavioral practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active UT Special Education License/Certification
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, families, and related service providers
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in a Life Skills or self-contained Special Education classroom
  • Experience supporting students with diverse learning and behavioral needs
  • Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
  • Passion for fostering independence and student success
