Adapted Physical Education Teacher

Adapted Physical Education (APE) Teacher | 2026-2027 School Year

Responsibilities:

Provide adapted physical education services for students with disabilities.
Assess motor skills and develop IEP-based goals.
Collaborate with educators, service providers, and families.
Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with special education requirements.

Qualifications:

Active California Education Specialist or Physical Education Teaching Credential required.
APE Added Authorization required or eligibility to obtain.
School-based experience with students with disabilities preferred.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
