Elementary Special Education Teacher | Tracy, California

The role is available for immediate start and continues through the end of the current school year.

What You’ll Bring:

• Possession of a valid California CTC teaching credential specializing in Special Education
• Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly within resource settings
• Demonstrated ability to support students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner effectively with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Organizational skills to manage a caseload of approximately 28 students
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Provide targeted instruction and interventions in small group or one-on-one settings
• Track and document student progress, adapting strategies as needed for success
• Collaborate regularly with colleagues, families, and specialists to support student achievement
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal special education requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and school-based team discussions
