Special Education Teacher - Troutman, NC

Key Qualifications:

• Current license in Adapted Curriculum required
• Experience working with students on the autism spectrum recommended
• Proven ability to manage and adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and support staff
• Comfortable creating an inclusive, positive classroom environment
• Prior middle and/or high school teaching experience desirable

Role Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement individualized instruction aligned with extended content standards
• Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies tailored for students with high-level autism
• Collaborate with families, support staff, and administration to support each student’s IEP goals
• Maintain accurate student records, document progress, and ensure compliance with reporting standards
• Employ a variety of engagement techniques to encourage student participation and growth
• Participate in professional development to stay current with best practices in special education

Position Benefits:
