Successful candidates will have:

• A valid K-12 or K-6 Special Education (SPED) teaching certification
• Master’s degree in Special Education or a closely related field
• Experience or passion for working with elementary caseloads
• Ability to create inclusive, engaging lesson plans and individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with fellow staff and families
• Flexibility, organization, and a commitment to fostering each student’s growth

What you’ll be doing:

• Providing direct instruction and support to elementary students with a variety of learning needs
• Developing and implementing IEPs to address individual educational goals
• Differentiating instruction and adapting materials for student accessibility
• Collaborating with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, service providers, and families
• Maintaining ongoing documentation of student progress and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
• Fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
