Qualifications:

  • Current CT Special Education License for K-12 or 7-12
  • Willingness to present as a qualified DSAP teacher
  • Experience in Special Education preferred, specifically with middle school students
  • Strong skills in supporting basic Math, Reading/Writing, and Modified Science

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead teacher in a Middle School Life Skills classroom
  • Manage a caseload of 6-8 students, designing individualized education plans
  • Deliver instruction in foundational academics and adaptive skills
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
