Special Education Teacher - Tubac, AZ

Inspire and support students as a Special Education Teacher in a vibrant school environment! Multiple full-time positions are available on a contract basis, providing dedicated resource support at local elementary and middle schools near Tubac, AZ. Each campus offers the opportunity to work with manageable caseloads – 30 students at three elementary schools and 37 at a middle school – ensuring you can make a meaningful impact.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (Arizona, or eligibility to obtain)
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Experience with resource-model special education delivery a plus
• Strong collaboration skills for working closely with general education staff and support personnel
• Commitment to individualized instruction and supporting students’ diverse learning needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver instructional services as a resource teacher, supporting students’ IEP goals in inclusive and small group settings
• Case management for assigned students, including monitoring progress, updating documentation, and holding IEP meetings
• Collaborate with families, general education teachers, and specialists to develop effective supports and learning plans
• Foster a positive and encouraging environment that helps each student reach their full potential
