This full-time role centers on delivering meaningful educational experiences for approximately 12 students, ensuring each learner receives individualized support and encouragement. With the assistance of five dedicated paraprofessionals in the classroom, you will foster a positive, structured, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
Your expertise in special education allows you to create and implement effective individualized education plans (IEPs), monitor student progress, and collaborate with both staff and families to best meet each child’s needs. The room is equipped with resources to enable creativity and adaptive instruction—giving you the tools to make a genuine impact every day.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teaching certification
- Experience working in K-5 settings, preferably in self-contained classrooms
- Strong IEP development and implementation skills
- Ability to collaborate with paraprofessionals and related service providers

Role Responsibilities:
- Design and adapt lesson plans customized to the individual strengths and needs of each student
- Maintain a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment
