  • Current and active Tennessee Special Education teaching license/certification with all required endorsements
  • Experience crafting, implementing, and updating IEPs, progress monitoring, and applying data-driven instructional strategies
  • Demonstrated skill in both inclusion and pull-out service delivery for elementary-age students
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, school staff, and families to support student success
  • Strong communication, organization, and adaptability in dynamic school environments

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop, adapt, and execute IEPs tailored to student needs, ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements
  • Utilize assessment tools and ongoing data collection to monitor progress and adjust instruction as necessary
  • Provide individualized and small group instruction within inclusion or pull-out settings
  • Partner confidentially and professionally with other educators and parents to optimize each child’s learning experience
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation as required by district and policy standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development to remain current with best practices
