Special Education Teacher - Tuscola, TX

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Previous experience in a resource classroom is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver resource support to students in assigned grade levels (one elementary, one middle school classroom)
• Develop tailored lesson plans and interventions
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with policy and IEP guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, administration, and families to promote student achievement
• Adapt instructional techniques to meet individual needs
• Provide direct instruction, behavioral support, and progress monitoring
• Contribute to IEP meetings and ensure student goals are achieved
